Mother Goose Group

Ellison and I have been participating in one of the library's Mother Goose groups every Wednesday morning for the last couple months. We sing a couple of hand-motion songs, listen to a storyteller, then the little tots have some playtime together. Basically, the kiddies see whose diaper bag is accessible so they can get into some goodies. It's been great for Ellison (and Mommy, too!). She's becoming more comfortable letting me out of her sight, and it's a hoot watching the little people play (and vie for the same toys). Lately, Ellison creeps up to the storyteller, stands herself up to his chair, and puts her hand on his knee. Do you think we have a "teacher's pet" in the making? ("Shut up" to any of you fellow NLHS alumni I went to school with!). Shoot, in today's day and age, I'll have to have a talk with her about that. Here are a few of the little regulars with Ellison: Clara, Shaylen, Anika, and Allison. Unfortunately a few of the others didn't make it to the group this past week.
