Beach Bound!

After a long, rainy drive with G & G's van bottoming out from being so packed, we finally arrived at the beach in the evening! Our condo was in Salter Path, in the Atlantic Beach/Indian Beach area. Ellison never fell asleep during naptime on the way there. Shoot, I feel like I did nothing BUT sleep in the car when I was a kid. At any rate, she did great. After unloading our stuff, we all headed down to the water. Ellison was so anxious to see the beach...

The first time her little toes have ever touched the ocean. She was totally in love from the first second.

She thought it was hilarious to be getting splashed by the waves, and kept squealing with happiness.

It was quite difficult to convince her to head back indoors with us.
