Evening in Frankenmuth

On Monday the 3 of us headed to Frankenmuth with Grandpapa and Grandma. Frankenmuth is a traditional German town about 1/2 hour from my parents house. From the time I was little, it's always been a fun, festive place to be. It's famous for having the largest Christmas store in the world, Bronner's, and it's famous restaurant, Zehnder's, is well-known for it's chicken dinners - the food is so yummy! The town is so cute, and especially cozy during the holidays. It brings back so many memories for me.

A few photos with Grandma first...

Ell had fun checking out all the Christmas decor while we waited for a seat at Zehnder's.

We didn't have time to walk through the town this time, but we did head to Bronner's after dinner. You can (and we did) spend hours in there - the place is HUGE and covered head-to-toe with Christmas items. You get lost in there. They have ornaments locked in safes that are worth thousands of dollars, that come straight from Germany. Ellison had so much fun!
