We love Daddy's summertime hours on Fridays (he works long hours Mon-Thurs, then works 8-12 on Fridays), even though he usually ends up working right through them! We lucked out and had a family date to go see Toy Story 3 at the theater.

Mookie went to town on popcorn, and we all enjoyed the movie. Elli didn't like the incinerator part in the movie, but other than that we all enjoyed it. Sappy Mama cried at the end with the whole thing about the kid leaving to go off to college, and the little girl looking on with her toys. Holy cats, my little girl will turn into that kid leaving the nest someday (God willing). I'm already sad thinking of where the time has gone...
Ellison keeps asking to see a movie at the movie "feater" now. And of course wants the Barbie from the movie, too.
