Country

Jon was looking forward to getting on Dad's lawnmower for weeks! I'm sure it was hard for Dad to stand back and let someone else do his lawn, but Jonathan was in his glory. He even went and did Aunt Yvonne's when he was done.

While Daddy was in his glory, little missy was in hers playing wedding all morning.

I would have to, yet again, be the prince waiting for her at the end of the aisle. I also had to provide the hummed wedding march as well.

Yes, she's tossing her bouquet to Grandma.

And apparently there was no honeymoon. It was right off to work in the garden, helping pick tomatoes.
Ellison later went on a walk with Grandma, where she got cattails from the ditch. Grandma had an adorable conversation with her about Papa Carl and where he is now, heaven, etc. After Grandma talked to her about how we'll all be in heaven some day, Ellison quickly asked her, "Do you accept Jesus into your heart?". Gram about died laughing - she said she felt like she was listening to a little evangelist.

That evening we went to a delicious restaurant for dinner, then Ellison got some more spoiling in at Wal-Mart after Grandma whispered in her ear to go ask Papa for it. She got her Barbie Merliah that has the mermaid tail! Her "old" Merliah Barbie was the $5 human leg version that didn't come with a mermaid tail (gasp).
