We enjoyed a nice day of walking around Beaufort - such a great little town! Very quaint. I wanna live here. We perused the main street, some shops, and the boardwalk. Had a great lunch at Clawson's. Oh, and Ellison was treated to 2 pairs of squeaky shoes, which she adores. When I found out that had squeakers in them, I said, "Forget it!", but was quickly assured they were removable. We let Ellison walk around town in them. A migraine later, and after every random person said how cool they were (because they only had to listen to them for a few minutes), Ellison was curtious enough to start walkin on her tiptoes some for a little reprieve. I do have to say, though, that they're actually a great idea when shopping with a kid that wants to run all over the place - it's impossible to lose track of them...
When it clouded up late afternoon and turned a wee bit chilly, we were hanging out on the beach. Daddy rigged up a nice wind-free zone for Mookie.

ella has some squeakers and loves them! they can get a bit annoying for mom and ddad though. looks like the beach was a blast!
