Last Day of School

It's crazy to think Ellison completed her first year of preschool! We are so proud of how great she did this year with such a big adjustment. We celebrated with the class for a little party, and Ellison was excited that Grandma got to come and check out her classroom.

The kids filed into the class with their T-shirts that they made as a surprise to us - little fish made by the thumbprints from every classmate and their teachers. We managed to get one quick photo of Gram and Ellison smiling as she came into the room, but you could totally tell she was peeved to have to wear the T-shirt over her dress! No smiling to be had from her while they were doing their little performance songs.

She looked like she was going to bust out and cry!

T-shirt is off, we're good to go now...

With Mrs. Kale and Mrs. Medley. Can you tell she's trying her hardest not to smile?

Playing a little dress-up before leaving her class.

After the party, we headed to the park with Baity, Logan, and Will, and their mommies, to continue the end-of-year celebration (and to avoid paint fumes while G & G were hard at work painting our bedroom and bathroom!).

Erin brought popsicles, and Megan brought Silly String for the kids to use, but it turned out it was a little hard for them to use, so we ended up squirting them and running.
