Corn-On-the-Cob

Hey, having teeth isn't so bad! As of late, this girl cannot get enough corn. So we thought we'd try some corn-on-the-cob for the first time. LOVED it! The sound of her little teeth chomping into that corn was so frickin' cute! Cheap thrills for us, I guess. :) At first she didn't want to hold it, but quickly found that it was worth the trouble.

More Hangin'

Just some more shots of Ellison hanging out with her grandparents.

Elli couldn't believe her luck - she got to be outside AND naked! Summer's going to be great! :)

I'm slightly embarrassed because the window is so dirty in this photo, but kindly remember that we have a 2 1/2 ft tall toddler and a dog to boot.

Ellison was entertained, repeatedly taking Grandma's ring off & putting it back on different fingers.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

Wow, Daddy turned the big "4-0"!!! After work, we all met him for dinner, then came home where he got to open some gifts & cards. We hope you had a great day, Daddy. We sure are thankful to have you in our lives, and hope the next 40 years are a blessing to you!

Ellison thought her dad might need a little help with the gift opening.

Presenting her dad with her gift to him.

Play-Doh

Ellison got Play-Doh from the Easter Bunny, and tried it out for the first time. She wasn't too sure about it though, until Grandma showed her how to roll it.

What a "Meh"!

We have the good fortune of having professional painters in the family. My poor parents work every time they come to visit! They told us to choose a room, so we got to have them paint our living room. Ellison seemed to enjoy having this strange messed-up area to explore for a few days. It was a new world to her. She was very helpful, trying to sweep up messes and supervise the painters. She was so proud that Grandma actually let her paint with the real stuff!

Just Hangin'

Playing toys with her grandmas.

Enjoying Daddy's new (early) birthday present. It's funny the things you consider 'gifts' once you're a homeowner! Grandma & Papa were taking a break from the paint preparations going on in the house.

Love this photo!

Easter Sunday

It was so nice to spend Easter with family this year. We had a lovely day - went to church followed by a delicious brunch at Lucky 32. Ellison was a DOLL throughout it all.

The Easter Bunny brought her some goodies.

A Playhouse?

The gang even brought this cool "playhouse" for Ellison to hang out in - their van. Ell had so much fun walking around in it once all the paint supplies were taken out. When I tried getting her out of it after a while, she kept shaking her head, telling me "No". She even had a bit of papparazi during the fun.

The Arrival

Ellison got to stay up past her bedtime so she could see the weary travelers when they got here. She was very sweet with them. She gave each of them kisses, and then had a field day getting all kinds of gifts from them. Needless to say, she let us know that she didn't want to be in her bed after that.
